Ethereum Documentary "Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum" is about to be released

Ethereum is a blockchain platform conceived by genius programmer Vitalik Buterin in 2013. Inspired by Bitcoin, Vitalik envisioned a platform that supports not just digital currency. The filming budget was sourced from 1035.96 ETH raised through the community in 2021.

In 2021, we first met Vitalik Buterin. He left us with an approachable impression, breaking the stereotypes of "crypto bros" and "arrogant founders" in mainstream media.

Then, we delved into the Ethereum ecosystem and got to know many amazing figures. We raised 1035.96 ETH through an NFT crowdfunding project, which attracted the attention of the film industry with this unconventional approach.

After three years of filming, we witnessed historic events: the NFT craze, wars that changed the world order, scandals, and ambitious software upgrades. During this turbulent period, the Ethereum community faced severe tests. But no matter what challenges arose, Vitalik has always adhered to the vision of an open internet.

"Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum" is a feature-length documentary about the humanity and spirit behind the technology. While it cannot fully cover the entire story of Ethereum, we hope to make this story more understandable and relatable through Vitalik's perspective.

This movie is the core of our "Ethereum Stories" series. Other short films will take the audience deep into various aspects of the community, including the history of generative art, the power of decentralized autonomous organizations, the birth of innovative projects, and more.
