Gate will upgrade SOL2 staked assets to GTSOL with a migration ratio of 1:1.
According to Gate News bot, in the official announcement from Gate on August 7, 2025, Gate will carry out a comprehensive upgrade of the stake tokenization system, unifying all stake derivative tokens under the GT series standardized assets.
According to the upgrade plan, SOL2 Token will be exchanged at a 1:1 ratio and renamed GTSOL. This upgrade will take place on August 12, 2025, from 16:00 to 18:00 ( UTC+8, and is expected to last for 2 hours.
During the upgrade, the platform will suspend staking and redemption operations for SOL2, and the margin function for SOL2 will also be removed. After the upgrade is complete, GTSOL will have a new margin support function, and the existing SOL2 margin will be automatically converted to GTSOL at a ratio of 1:1. The platform stated that it will gradually open services such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for GTSOL based on business needs.
