Abstract generation in progress

Recently, a new development network called InfiniSVM has attracted attention in the industry. It is reported that this network has demonstrated an astonishing peak performance of over 340,000 TPS in a testing environment. This achievement far exceeds the processing capabilities of current mainstream public chains, opening up new possibilities for Blockchain performance optimization.

The breakthrough of InfiniSVM is mainly attributed to its unique technical route. As pure software optimization solutions gradually approach their limits, the project has chosen to seek breakthroughs from the hardware level. It utilizes RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) technology, effectively bypassing the traditional bottleneck of the CPU, and achieving direct memory-level communication between nodes. At the same time, the project also introduced a multi-executor parallel processing model and SDN (Software Defined Networking) technology, further optimizing network performance.

How does Solayer achieve 340,000 TPS with RDMA under hardware support?

It is worth noting that InfiniSVM maintains complete compatibility with a certain well-known public chain virtual machine. This means that existing developers only need to make simple adjustments to the RPC endpoints to migrate to the new platform, significantly lowering the barriers for application migration. In addition, InfiniSVM's 0.01-second confirmation time also provides new possibilities for applications such as high-frequency trading and real-time gaming.

In terms of consensus mechanisms, InfiniSVM adopts a hybrid POAS model, attempting to seek a balance between performance and decentralization. Daily transactions are processed quickly by a network of validators, while in the event of a dispute, a certain mainnet serves as the final arbiter. This design ensures efficiency while maintaining decentralization to some extent.

However, it should be noted that hardware acceleration solutions will inevitably raise the operational threshold for nodes. Although RDMA and InfiniBand technologies perform excellently, their higher costs and technical complexity may lead to a certain degree of centralization in the verification node network. In response, the project party has chosen to layer the "performance" and "security" requirements to address this challenge.

Currently, the development network of InfiniSVM is still in the internal testing phase. The network status may be reset periodically, and data stability needs further improvement. This indicates that a certain amount of engineering work is still required before officially entering the production environment, especially when facing extreme pressure of over 1 million TPS.

Overall, InfiniSVM represents an important shift in the development of Blockchain infrastructure - from software optimization to hardware acceleration, and from theoretical innovation to engineering implementation. This forward-looking technological path may provide new ideas for breakthroughs in Blockchain performance in the future.
