The Japanese Prime Minister warns that the US tariff policy may impact the global economy.

According to Gate.io News bot, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba expressed strong concerns in a speech on Monday that the U.S. tariff policy could undermine the global economic order, marking the sternest warning to date regarding the potential dangers of Trump's decisions.

Shih Pomo pointed out in his speech at the National Assembly: "When negotiating with the United States, we need to understand the logic and emotional factors behind Trump's views. I fully recognize that the current situation may disrupt the global economic order." At the same time, he stated that Japan will seek a consensus on cooperation with the United States on issues such as trade and national security.

Regarding countermeasures, Shibo Mo stated that the government is not currently considering an additional budget, but is prepared to take action at any time to mitigate the economic impact of U.S. tariffs.
