Canada's merchandise trade deficit slightly widened to 5.86 billion Canadian dollars.

Jin10 data reported on August 5th that Canada's trade deficit in goods with the world slightly expanded to 5.86 billion Canadian dollars in June. Exports to its largest market, the United States, rose by 3.1%, while imports increased by 2.6%, further expanding Canada's long-term surplus with the U.S. from 38.54 billion Canadian dollars last month to 39.53 billion Canadian dollars.
