Jinshi data, January 22 news, data released by the German government show that Germany's approved arms exports in 2024 hit a record high, exceeding $13 billion, with military aid to Ukraine accounting for the majority. Reuters cited data from the German Ministry of Economic Affairs on the 21st, reporting that the amount of weapons and equipment approved for export by the German government last year reached 13.33 billion euros (about 13.8 billion US dollars), with exports to Ukraine totaling 8.15 billion euros. Other export destinations for weapons and equipment include Singapore, Algeria, the United States, and Turkey, with amounts of approximately 1.21 billion euros, 560 million euros, 320 million euros, and 230 million euros respectively.
