SSE report: the domestic ETF scale will rise by 1.6 trillion yuan in 2024
On February 3, Jinshi Data reported that the scale of domestic Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) has risen rapidly as index investment becomes increasingly recognized by investors. By 2024, the scale of domestic ETFs is expected to rise to 1.6 trillion yuan. According to statistics from the Shanghai Stock Exchange, by the end of 2024, the number of ETFs listed on the domestic exchange reached 1,033, a 16% rise from the end of 2023, with a total scale of 3.7 trillion yuan, an 81% rise from the end of 2023. Among them, the scale of stock ETFs reached 2.89 trillion yuan, reaching a new historical high and accounting for about 3% of the total market value of A-shares.
