Bitcoin falls amidst reports that Trump has called advisors to the Situation Room.
The Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market continues to be in the red as tensions in the Middle East escalate, especially after American President Donald Trump pulled out early from the G7 summit and posted a concerning message related to Tehran.
According to Reuters, Mr. Trump has requested the National Security Council to prepare for an emergency meeting in the Situation Room of the White House after unexpectedly leaving the G7 summit in Canada on Monday. Earlier, he wrote on the Truth Social platform: "Everyone should evacuate Tehran immediately!" — a shocking warning.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Mr. Trump is going to Canada on Sunday to attend the G7, but is withdrawing early due to the escalating Israel-Iran conflict. "Many positive outcomes have been achieved, but due to the unstable situation in the Middle East, President Trump will leave right after dinner with the leaders," Ms. Leavitt stated, according to CBS News.
