Eyenovia becomes the first Nasdaq company to hold HYPE tokens.
According to Globenewswire, Eyenovia (NASDAQ: EYEN) – a company listed on the Nasdaq exchange – has just announced a $50 million private capital raising agreement to establish a reserve fund of the Hyperliquid blockchain's native HYPE token. The company will become the first business on the Nasdaq to hold HYPE tokens.
Eyenovia plans to purchase over 1 million HYPE and implement a staking plan. At the same time, the company continues to develop the ophthalmic medical device Optejet. Hyunsu Jung has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer and member of the Board of Directors. The transaction is expected to be completed on June 20, 2025, at which point Eyenovia will be renamed "Hyperion DeFi" and the stock code will change to "HYPD."
