Teachers, don't you think dating is really boring?
Last night, I talked to a friend about the topic of dating. I said I haven't dated in a long time because, for me, dating is just a burden now, and I really find it very boring...
When I was in college, I hadn't yet been beaten down by society, and I exercised and kept fit every day, which made me somewhat attractive. Gradually, I met some girls through various channels.
Some of these girls are smart, while others are a bit silly. The smart ones will test me, while the silly ones come up and buy me this and that (of course I didn’t accept), without exception, I don’t like any of them.
The overall feeling I get is that dating them would be like this script:
Get to know each other for a week, date for a week, break up and argue for a week...
The longest relationship I've had lasted less than a year. My feelings towards girls are actually quite average; I just think they're nice people. The process has been very painful for me, and sometimes I feel like I'm acting a bit.
Every day, I send some silly emoji and words like "baby" and "piggy" that I find really foolish. The conversation is also very dull, just the same topics every day: what we ate and what we watched.
It may be because the two people wanted different things, and later they inexplicably stopped contacting each other, defaulting to a breakup.
And the gain from this relationship is that I seem to have a hard time developing a dependency or emotional reliance on others, so I simply decided not to look for it.
Anyway, not being in a relationship right now is pretty good, maybe I just haven't met the right person yet? And what exactly is the emotional value that girls talk about?
Ps. My sexual orientation is normal.
