Recently, a new policy was officially implemented at 8 am, attracting widespread attention from the market. The core content of this policy can be summarized as follows: when using limit orders for BSC chain Token trading on the exchange platform, the trading volume will be calculated as four times the actual amount.
This change seems to benefit traders at first glance. For example, if you place a limit order for 500BR on the platform, it will be counted as a trading volume of 2000. If your actual trading volume is 16,800, under the old policy, this would only be calculated as double the trading volume, equivalent to 15 points for a 33,000 level. Under the new policy, this will be regarded as a trading volume of 66,000 levels, directly earning 16 points.
However, the long-term impact of this policy is worth pondering. First, the increase in volume may heighten the risk of market volatility, as evidenced by the significant drop in the BR coin on the day the policy was implemented. Second, over time, the threshold for airdrops may continue to rise. It is expected that in 15 days, needing 230 points to claim an airdrop may become the norm.
This change may lead traders to generally increase their trading volume. Users who originally traded 16,800 to gain 13 points may choose to trade 33,000 to obtain a higher score, while those who previously traded 33,000 may upgrade to the 66,000 tier. This chain reaction could significantly raise the threshold for airdrop scores in the short term, possibly to a daunting level.
From an economic perspective, this phenomenon is similar to the "prisoner's dilemma". Each trader increases their volume in order to gain more benefits, which may ultimately lead to a higher overall threshold, putting all participants under greater pressure and risk.
In the face of this new policy, traders need to weigh the pros and cons and make cautious decisions. In the short term, they may enjoy the benefits of easier access to high scores, but in the long run, they may face more intense competition and higher risks. In this rapidly changing market, maintaining a clear mind and flexible strategies is crucial.
