Listed companies increase their hold on Ethereum, with a total value exceeding 3.2 billion USD.
Among the 58 organizations currently holding Ethereum (ETH) in their treasury, 10 publicly listed companies are currently holding approximately 865.265 ETH, equivalent to 3.2 billion USD.
According to data from Strategic ETH Reserve, four companies have recently added an additional 113,300 ETH to the treasury. The total number of organizations holding ETH has sharply increased from 40 in June to 58 as of July 22.
On the same day, the cryptocurrency mining company BTCS announced that it is holding 55,788 ETH, purchased at an average price of 2,846 USD. With the current market price of 3,698.75 USD, the ETH treasury value of BTCS has exceeded 206 million USD.
BTC Digital also joined the race on July 21 by purchasing an additional 5 million USD in ETH, raising the total amount of ETH held to 2.135 ETH, equivalent to nearly 8 million USD.
Notably, on July 22, SharpLink announced that it had purchased 79,949 ETH between July 14 and 20 at an average price of 3,238 USD. The company's Ethereum treasury currently holds 360,807 ETH, worth approximately 1.3 billion USD. SharpLink is now the largest holder of Ethereum, with Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin on the board.
Many other companies have also joined
Strategic ETH Reserve monitors six additional listed companies that are holding Ethereum.
Centaurus Energy currently holds 137 ETH, acquired on December 31, 2024, with a total value of over 500,000 USD. The company stated it will raise 25 million USD to invest in Ethereum and Solana.
Moss Ethereum, formerly known as Moss Genomics, is currently holding 324 ETH valued at nearly 2 million USD after rebranding to reflect its strategy focused on Ethereum.
Two other companies, Intchains Group and ETH Strategy, are also part of the listed companies that are holding ETH, with holdings of approximately 7,000 ETH and 7,900 ETH, respectively.
Bit Digital recently transferred its entire treasury of 280 Bitcoin to Ethereum, increasing its total held ETH to 120,306.
Finally, BitMine just purchased an additional 163,000 ETH last week, bringing the total amount of ETH held to nearly 300,700 ETH. With this move, BitMine has surpassed the Ethereum Foundation in terms of Ether ownership, along with SharpLink becoming the largest entities holding ETH in the world.
