On August 8, according to an official announcement, Animoca Brands and its affiliates (collectively referred to as "Animoca Brands") today announced the completion of a strategic investment in the NFT brand Cool Cats Group.
After the investment is completed, Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group will hold a majority stake in Cool Cats Group. Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group aim to foster innovation and growth, enhance community engagement, and explore new market opportunities for Cool Cats in the rapidly evolving NFT space.
After the investment is completed, Animoca Brands will appoint two new board members to promote the development of Cool Cats: Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, and Kenneth Shek, project lead of Mocaverse and Moca Network.
