🚀 Immersing myself in the world of futures on Gate: my experience for the #CandyDrop Futures Challenge
Trading futures always seemed to me like something from the "professionals' world" — rapidly changing charts, impulsive price movements, and the risk that can burn through a deposit in a couple of minutes. But with the advent of the CandyDrop Futures Challenge on Gate, I decided to try my luck and test the strategy I had been honing on the demo.
📊 How it all went:
1️⃣ Started with a small deposit to reduce risk
2️⃣ Selected pairs with high liquidity — BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT
3️⃣ Used leverage ×5 to balance between returns and security.
4️⃣ I applied the rule "1 trade — 1 scenario": either I take profit at the take profit level, or I exit at the stop.
🔥 The result of the first week: +12% on the deposit and no liquidations! The most valuable thing is calm trading when you know your plan.
💡 Tips for beginners:
Always set stop-losses — the market does not forgive carelessness.
Don't chase after super profits in one deal — stability is more important.
Keep a transaction log — it helps analyze mistakes.
