$ETH –$533,000

This is what I snapped after increasing my position size (averaging in) to $17M.

TG:

Then the position moved slightly in my favor and I decided to close it — which was the right call, unlike the actual decision to short on a breakout “a-la degen mode.”

Shorting ETH right now is suicide. I even told you earlier today that the market looks mega bullish, yet I still decided to act like a true retail hamster — which is not my style. No risk management — that’s brutal.

Does it hurt? — No. I’m used to working with large volumes. But it’s a little upsetting, not because of the loss itself, but because of the decision.

Losses in trading are part of the job — it’s normal! But when a loss is of the “maybe it’ll moon” variety, that’s when trouble comes.

No emotions, no masks — just pure gambling.

A clear example of how not to trade, from my own real-time experience. This kind of thing doesn’t get shown on TV, and other bloggers don’t talk about it. And if they do, they make long videos crying on camera, pretending to be poor lambs.

Me? I’m solid as a rock. Screw moves like this. Straight to the shower to wash it off, and I’ll wake up tomorrow with a smile. New day — new opportunities!

Wishing you all well. Don’t gamble and don’t break your risk management!
