Crypto analyst PlanC recently evaluated concerns regarding the ongoing Bitcoin correction and whether it indicates the end of the bull market.

According to PlanC, this bull cycle is different from 2017, where rapid recoveries occurred after numerous short-term corrections. Instead, he predicts that the "pain" investors will feel in this cycle will be more related to time than to percentage declines.

PlanC stated, "During the bull market, there will be fewer corrections with lower percentages; this is different from the 2017 cycle, which experienced numerous short-lived, extreme corrections and rapid recoveries." PlanC noted that although this cycle may include longer consolidation periods, many investors could misinterpret this as a sign of a weakening bull run. As fear-driven narratives spread among investors, prolonged upward movements could undermine confidence.

Despite these concerns, PlanC remains optimistic and suggests that the extended consolidations of this cycle will create stronger support levels. "In this cycle, we have a chance for a long bullish period due to the stronger support being built during these long consolidation periods on the path to a bull market," he said. He described this as a more sustainable bull market supported by genuine adoption and the increasing integration of Bitcoin into global financial systems.

PlanC also added that he has not sold any of his Bitcoin assets since the market hit its lowest levels in March 2020.
