In this quarter, new assets in the Grayscale Research Top 20 list include Maple (SYRUP), Geodnet (GEOD), and Story Protocol (IP), while Akash, Arweave, and Jupiter have been removed from the list.
Grayscale Research's latest report indicates that altcoins, particularly projects like Ethereum (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Chainlink (LINK), may gain more value than Bitcoin (BTC).
It is emphasized that altcoins have a high growth potential and that these projects are developing rapidly. Although Bitcoin has long maintained its leading position, the development of these altcoins may have a greater impact on the market by 2025.
In its report, Grayscale highlighted Ethereum's strong ecosystem with (ETH) decentralized finance (DeFi)** and smart contracts, Polkadot's (DOT) multi-chain structure, Solana's (SOL)-fast transaction processes, Avalanche's (AVAX)** efficient infrastructure, and Chainlink's (LINK) detailing secure data validation features, he notes that these projects can gain a lot of momentum. These altcoins could have the potential to grow (BTC)** more than Bitcoin.
Grayscale Research's analysis highlights that some altcoins are experiencing significant changes in market dynamics. Particularly, while some projects may achieve a stronger position by 2025, others may exhibit lower performance. The report draws attention to predictions regarding how certain projects will be affected by these changes. Notably, projects such as Ethereum (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), and Solana (SOL) are seen as prominent names in these dynamic changes.
