Announcing airdrops at eco-conferences may be the new fashion in project marketing, as Jupiter, which announced it would be airdropping JUP tokens at Solana Breakpoint last year, has been garnering a lot of buzz and attention.

Recently, there have been signs that many Sui projects may be replicating Jupiter’s operation, making the upcoming Sui Basecamp on April 10-11 in Paris, France, the start of a new airdrop season for Sui.

Suilend is a new lending project founded on Sui by 0xRooter, the founder of Solend, the lending protocol on Solana. In addition to the confirmed airdrop to users on Solend, there is a high probability that it will also be airdropped to users on Sui. Depositing and borrowing is essential to get access to the lending agreement airdrop. But unlike other lending agreements that don’t require a Loan Agreement, in order to participate in Suilend at this stage, users need to have a Suilend Beta Pass, an NFT pass. This NFT can be purchased through NFT marketplaces such as tradeport, currently at a floor price of around 11SUI, in addition to being available at events held from time to time by Suilend and its partners.

Due to the SUI token incentives from the Sui Foundation, the interest rates on DeFi projects on Sui are quite attractive. It’s worth noting that Suilend charges a one-time borrowing fee of 0.3%, and it may take some time to recoup the costs for actions like revolving loans.

SuiNS is a domain name service on Sui that was acquired by Mysten Labs last year. Back in January Adeniyi ran a questionnaire on X that focused on “Should we make a Mysten Labs core project completely decentralized?” 94% of people chose “Yes, and airdrop it!”. 94% chose “Yes, and airdrop it!

The general procedure is to become a SuiNS domain name holder and then enter its Discord for verification.

There are 5 DC role sets available, namely the Activited Day 1 NFT role for those who hold an activated SuiNS Day NFT, the Whale role for those who hold 10 or more domains, the Collector role for those who hold between 5 and 9 domains, and the basic SuiNS Club domain holder role.

Note that you don’t have to go to the SuiNS website to register a domain for 20SUI a year in order to become a domain owner, you can go to tradeport and other NFT trading platforms to buy it for a cheaper price.

Navi is the largest protocol in TVL on Sui and its main business is lending. It has previously issued tokens through an IDO on Cetus, but has been slow to conduct a token airdrop for its users.

Navi has an ongoing points system, and its documentation states that points will play a key role in the “upcoming”, upcoming airdrops.

Participation Guide

Head over to the Navi website to make deposits and borrows, and the points will be settled every Monday based on the relative ranking of the amount deposited and borrowed. Each week, the number of points for depositing and borrowing is capped at 1,000, and the number of points decreases as you move up the rankings, e.g., 650 points if you are in the top 5% to 10% of the rankings.
