Iran vows to block the "American corridor" in the Caucasus region.

On August 9, Jin10 reported that a senior advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei, Velayati, announced on Saturday that Tehran will block the "American corridor" in the Caucasus region, regardless of whether there is Russian assistance. This corridor connects Turkey and Azerbaijan through Armenia. Previously, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a peace agreement in the United States, which mentioned America's development rights over this transportation corridor that crosses Armenia. Velayati responded by saying: "The Caucasus is one of the most sensitive geographical points in the world, this passage will not become Trump's corridor, but rather the grave of Trump's mercenaries."
