LayerZero is about to launch its token, which community projects have the opportunity to receive an Airdrop?

On May 11, LayerZero Labs released the 'Protocol RFP' proposal in the community, marking the final determination of the first step in TGE distribution. The RFP allows each project to formulate its own allocation criteria based on its overall token distribution. Projects that have deployed OApp, OFT, or ONFT contracts on the mainnet before Snapshot #1 and declared on LayerZero Scan are eligible to submit proposals.

"Protocol RFP" proposal applications ended on May 31st, and the partner project addresses were also confirmed by 08:00 on June 6th. Recently, Bryan Pellegrino, Co-founder and CEO of LayerZero, announced that the final version of the witch address list will be released before the end of June, and the airdrop was originally planned for this month. Currently, more than 200 protocols have submitted RFPs, and we have selected some projects to share with readers.

Public Chain

Manta Network

Manta Token is a token of OFT. The team has deployed OFT Manta Token on different chains to support cross-chain interaction of Manta Token between multiple chains.

• 70% is allocated to CANTO OFT cross-chain users, with a total of at least 50 CANTO cross-chained to/from Ethereum, of which 20% is evenly distributed and 80% is distributed according to the cross-chain volume ratio;

Prime Protocol is a cross-chain liquidity protocol, early adopter of LayerZero v1 universal messaging technology.

• 100% distribution to eligible users
• LayerZero information generated for each user's legitimate and relevant deposit/payment transactions: 50% weight (requires at least 1 LayerZero message within the snapshot)
• Cumulative points: 50% weight (at least 1 piece of LayerZero information is required in the snapshot)

However, Prime is controversial, with users in the community saying that 'Prime Protocol has not done anything for their community. Their Twitter account was hacked in July last year, and people lost $60,000 on phishing links shared by the hackers. They collected the addresses of affected users on Discord, but did not provide any compensation and did not share any information about the hack for months. They acted as if it never happened.' Some users also believe that Prime users deserve rewards.

Extra Finance

Extra Finance is a leverage yield protocol that integrates with LayerZero to launch the OFT token EXTRA, allowing users to cross-chain between Optimism and Base.
