The US non-seasonally adjusted CPI recorded 0.1% m/m in May, compared to the consensus of 0.2%. US seasonally adjusted core CPI recorded 0.1% m/m in May, compared to the consensus of 0.3%. The US non-seasonally adjusted core CPI recorded 2.8% y/y in May, compared to the consensus of 2.9%. Spot gold rose $12 in the short term and is now trading at $3349.16 an ounce.
